• SysOp Chat Night

I'm leaning toward the following time frame for our SysOp chat.

    London at: 2100 hours (9PM)
USA at: 1200 Hours (Noon) Arizona time
Austrailia at: 0600 Hours (6AM) West coast

Obviously these times can be amended for later or earlier but I thought this was a good compromise. I'm not sure what if any participation will be forthcoming from Europe so I left them out as I did Asia. If we hear from
those areas we can slid the hours to acommadate them.

I think this will give us a good start at final tuning. Since I don't do
sports of any kind and the weekends here are filled with Pro and college
crap, the time is not important to me as far as it is to many others. I
don't know what you may watch or participate in but I'm sure we can find a mutual ground to stand on.

Fred from Australia wont be making it, he is not feeling great and has shut down his BBS.

So just consider USA and you can make it 11pm UK time for me.

Humm.......11 PM UK time would be about 3PM here. So the West coast of the
USA would be 3 PM, Central would be 5 PM and the East coast would be 6 PM.
If there are no others in Europe that wish to join we can use this as the timeset.

That works for me. I'll post here and on some on the current Excalibur BBS's
    in the USA.

    OK where, and how?

I suggest multichat on my BBS?

    48 nodes available....

And no setup for anyone who hasnt got the new chat......

Just download the terminal if they havent got it....

.....and if they get the one off my page the address is in it..... http://www.imcon.co.uk/excaltrm.exe

But I am open to other suggestions too! :-)

Also, I havent had any replies from the likes of Roger Heath and Mike
    Kovenick etc....

Michael was moving the last time we were in touch so I dont know who will actually be there.

Do you have a list of who has said they will be there?

No RSVP as of yet. I guess I'll just keep trying to spread the word.
I've only been able to connect to about 5 BBS's so far.
As for the chat itself, I don't care which chat type we use.
Whatever is easier for the players. I don't know how many nodes
Orion's has, but I doubt if we'll need more than a dozen if the current response is any indicator.

I got a reply by email from MCK and he will be there, which is great.

Apart from Tim Robinson or Eric Weber, Michael knew most about Excalibur in its hey day and had what was widely regarded as the best Excalibur BBS in
    the world at the time.

So it will be great to have a chat with him and remember old times.

Excellant. Maybe he can clear up some of the rumors about the 32 bit version
of Excalibur. I remember one about a beta version that was almost ready to
go. I have Tim's info here somewhere. I'll see if any of the emails work.
