Hey all, I've sent in a retronet app a couple times over the past 6
months, and have never heard a reply back. The app lists "retronet2016@yahoo.com" as the contact. Is this still correct? No time pressure really, it's a hobby, and was just wondering if this network is
still active, or maybe I did something wrong...?

    Cheers,

That's the email address I applied to. Once in Sept 2020 and never received a response, the second time in July 2021 and received a response the next day.

Not sure if you have, but you might want to try logging on to Carlos' BBS Necromicon - necrobbs.ddns.net:23 he has a application program on it, not sure if it will get you hooked up faster but it's worth a try.. Carlos has had some health issues so that might be the reason..

    Hope that helps..

Isn't it disappointing to come across a network and find the admin
don't care about it any more. Sure we get busy and world stuff happens,
but it doesn't hurt to put an autoresponse or something.

To be honest, I'm surprised your message got here at all.

    Try sending him another.

I've been in touch with Carlos. He said he's having health issues and recent hand surgery has stopped him doing anything with the network. I'm trying to convince him to take on a co-admin to assist with running the network or if he's not up to it maybe hand it over to someone with experience of running a net.

Hang in there and you may get added sooner or later :)
