• Use of TCPSER in Linux and Modem state

From Nuke@80:774/106 to All on Thu Mar 11 00:33:32 2021
    Hey all,
Running TCPSER 1.1.4 on linux and trying to launch a BBS program in VICE using TCPER as conduit.
TCPSER is up and accepting connections. On BBS side, it is waiting for me to switch modem (or moreso, move the modem switch) from Talk to Data. The BBS
will not accept calls in this state.

Other pointers: Launching CGterm and attempting call out to I-Net addresses
    are sucessful.
TCPSER command currently being used (and a lot of alternatives tried): -v
    25232 -p 6400 -s 2400 -l 4
VICE set using NC 127.0.0.1:25232 ip232 enabled 2400 baud (no smartlink).ACIA is disabled.

I believe the problem is a missing init string in the tcpser command?? Thoughts?
