• Method to Request Files

    That's not possible with Mytic currently.

    Someone just posted the question to g00r00 recently in the fido MYSTIC area and it sounded like there may be an update to Mystic to support file requests in the future. Keep an eye on the whatsnew.txt.. :)

    Isn't it? What about creating a .req file manually or with the help of some other software in the outbound?

    You can put a .req file in a nodes filebox but the problem is the mailer hangs up before the remote node can send you the file you requested.

    g00r00 said something about an upgrade to binkp/1.1 would solve that problem. I'm not sure when that will happen but it's on the todo list.
