Well, not good. The Mystic DOS editor won't export tabs, instead
it places 8 spaces. This makes it impossible to edit gophermaps.

Does anyone know of mystic editor plugin that will correctly export
    tabs?

I'm aware of the Gophlog plugin, and if there's nothing else maybe
    I'll give that a try.

Why don't you just edit in your terminal??? I guess thats a loaded question, but you could have OpenSSH on your bbs box and ssh in - from there, in Linux you can just 'sudo apt install nano' and use 'nano filename.ext' to edit. On Windows, you can install the 'chocolatey' terminal package manager and do 'choco install nano' and then the same 'nano filename.ext' to edit...

I realize you asked a different question - but a lot of times when I'm trying to do something that doesn't w0rk I just thing of other way(s) to get the same result - and you might even like editing the file(s) directly way better than using some Mystic built-in tool. I sure do...

I use nano all the time. The problem is that the terminal client I'm
writing for LibreDOS doesn't handle the keys necessary to work with
nano. I can't even exit nano once in. lol

This is why I keep asking for native Mystic tools/plugins; my terminal
is mature enough to at least handle them fairly well.

The solution was to write an FTP client. That was fun, but necessary
    for various tasks.
