    OK, got a question. I had a Node Coordinator send me a netmail to Berry
    Miller when my name is actually Beery Miller. That is with 2 e's and not 2 r's.

    So, since my name was spelled incorrectly, I never saw it until I changed the spelling of my name. I saw in the mutil settings where I can redirect a name such as Sysop, Berry, Beery, etc. to another name.

    Is there some other way the message reader will allow me to view all the netmails???

    Thanks.

    Beery

    No, it will only show you netmails addressed to you. The trick is to set up some extra redirects in your mailin.ini in the [ImportEchoMail] function.

    I do this

    forward = Paul;Paul Hayton
    forward = Paul H;Paul Hayton
    forward = P Hayton;Paul Hayton
    forward = Paul Haydon;Paul Hayton
    forward = Avon;Paul Hayton

    Best, Paul

    Doubtful, netmail is supposed to be private.

    FWIW, in Synchronet, the sysop can read all netmails on the system - which is useful for when you want to check any netmails that were not sent to your name (or if you changed your name).

    IIRC, incoming netmails that are addressed to users that dont exist, are bounced or forwarded to the sysop - so its not really a problem if somebody gets the spelling of your name wrong (which I think is how this thread started?)
