In case I didn't lazily ask enough questions for the day...

Is there a TheDraw for Linux?

I love TheDraw, and couldn't possibly use anything else for ANSI.

For now, I'll use the DOS version with WINE, but let me know if there's a
    Linux version out there somewhere.

    Thanks!

There is PabloDraw. I use that. It works well.

I think I tried that back in the old days (in DOS). The name rings a bell!
I'll give it a try. Thank you!

You can run it under Linux by using DOSBOX. I do that and it
    works perfectly.

Ok first, PabloDraw is the best current in my opinion. But here's a
curveball, install dosemu/dosbox/dosxxxx and run AcidDraw inside (or use a winbox). I absolutely love AcidDraw, though I have a dedicated dos computer just for running fun old stuff.

    Cheers,

I know it does the ctrl-A menus used in Synchronet.

You can use TheDraw through DOSEMU I think. Mystic has its own rudimentary ANSI editor built in now which can do decent for simple edits and stuff. I still need to add more to it, but its benefit is that it works across all platforms Mystic runs on and its integrated into the BBS in certain areas.
