You will have to upgrade but it's not too hard to do. There is an upgrade.txt in the archive that explains what you need to do.

I always upgrade, g00r00 puts a lot of treats in each version. ;)

Trying to get my system upgraded, have some folks who call when I am ready
then more call so trying to time this upgrade from A39 to A40. I managed to chnage and add the strings before the upgrade. Thank you for not pushing the message index right away that one is very much custom on my system.

Again great work, looking forward to more updates and breaks of course. heh

Is Internet email for users in the future?

It hasn't been a priority but its on the list. E-mail is barely usable if not unusable in 80x25 mode. E-mails are cluttered with images and HTML or external web links which make it nearly pointless... They just end up looking like gibberish if you try to use it with the rest of the Internet.

This is why Mystic integrates with e-mail clients for BBS e-mail and allows sending e-mail but doesn't give users an internet e-mail box.

It would also be really annoying when you have users that use the e-mail you give them to sign up for things and get 1000s of spam e-mails per user so that your server is constantly getting pegged with SMTP spam email connections. Once that starts happening there is probably little you can do to stop it.
