    Found some bugs already :(

    Fixed them :)

For now the uploaded windows version gopher can't send binary files
correctly. It's fixed in git, but I'll wait a bit before updating the
    uploaded windows version.

I'll check it out Monday. :) Will also see if postie is working
again for me. I'm going to change everything in my postie config to
    not use point address.

Cool. I hope it does, but I'm not holding my breath, I don't think I've
changed anything that would fix it. I was hoping it was a configuration
issue with your setup (The config looks fine, but maybe it doesn't like
    certain parts together)

I'm not sure I can do v0.15 by monday though :) I don't know if anyone is interested in the gopher stuff besides me anyway lol.

I'm making it so every user on a BBS has a gopher log (like blog bug
gopher) and manages it via the BBS. So far only article entry is working,
but I want to add editing, deleting and draft status.

Of course, you can disable gopher by omitting the port from the
talisman.ini (or setting it to -1)

To start I'll get a second address for Happynet from you and throw up
the binkd on another port for it.

I had started to look into gopher. Found a windows client then I got
busy. Getting more hours (again) starting next week. Not back to
60 hours a week but I think it's 52 or something. However other
changes may give me more time in the evening.

Are you familiar the gemini protocol? It is a new protocol that is sort of halfway between gopher and http. They claim it's heavier than gopher, lighter than the web, doesn't replace either, strives for max power:weight ratio,
    takes privacy seriously.

Lagrange is a good gemini browser which also supports gopher if you are interested in taking a look.

I just finished writing a gopher client for linux / windows. It's called "Gophari" (a play on Gopher and Safari). Seems to work ok for a couple of
    days work :)

I was using the "Little Gopher Client" and while that's a nice client, I
wanted to be able to set the home page, open external links and save
    binary files.

If you (or anyone) wants to see you can grab an installer for windows from

    https://happylandbbs.com

Also links to the source which you can compile on linux with cmake.
