Yes, binkd compiles and works fine on 64bit.

Ok.... Now is there a compliled version for 64 bit? LOL I can't compile it, I guess is what I am getting at.. Don't do it yourself for me as I might be setting up a 32bit computer just to run my CNet BBS... If I do, then this
    whole post is moot...

Maybe.. :) There are binaries for windows and other OSs. There probably is for linux as well but I have never looked.

There is probably a simple solution. What error do you receive when you try to compile it?

I will send you my compiled binkd if you need it but I'm sure you can build it there if/when it's needed. If that gives you problems I'd need to see the error to take a guess as to what it might be. You probably need to install a *-dev package or two.

Appreciate it Al, but I run Windows. ;) Although, I am not sure I am gonna
run BinkD or Radius, right now Radius is working receiving but not sending. I'll get that going. I'm not worried about it.. My main thing right now is getting the Amiga BBS stable.. I was just thinking out loud.. :)

It works on my x64 machine. I cannot remember if I am using the default version that can be installed from the debian repository, or if I compiled
it from the latest source. I have installed it both ways, one way per
machine, and I don't remember which is which right now. :)

Thanks for the info.. I am using Win 10. But it is moot now as I built a machine to run the Amiga BBS under Win 10 x86... :)

Is binkD 64 bit compatible? Pretty simple.. :)

Yes. If you mean running the Win32 version on a 64-bit version of
Windows, you should not have any issue. Then again, if someone were to
compile a 64-bit native Windows version, that might work out even better

Thanks Robert. I will run it in a 32bit enviroment, my Amiga Emulated BBS inside a VM is done. I put the BBS on a dedicated machine and installed Win10 32bit because the machine can't handle more then 4 gigs anyway so it works out.. Thanks..
