Those of you who are still working on new door games - what frameworks/languages are you using?

Back in ye olden day there were libraries (I can't remember the name of the
one I used in Turbo Pascal) specifically for writing door games. Now that
it's practically all telnet based, I'm not sure where to get started.

I program in Turbo Pascal 7.0 DOS to make my Door Games, I use a Library call Angel. I have it on Another F-ing BBS. It's for TP5,6,7 and also versions
for BP. I think there is a version also for Virtual Pascal...

I use opendoors with C. It's free and opensource and runs on just about anything.

I used to use edoor, and xdoor. Currently use nothing and just use a
bash script to read the drop file (thanks to apam). Too busy fighting
with my free pascal setup to do much of anything right now though.

I started developing some of my own libraries in Free Pascal. It's very basic at the moment and I have back-burnered it for now to work on my ANSI editor.

I will return to it soon though. Currently only going to support stdio with built in local ANSI support and steering away of OS-specific stuff so it will be easily ported around. It currently reads DOOR32.SYS, does some terminal detection stuff (screen size, scrollable region support, ANSI support, etc), and can read and write from/to stdin/stdout/stderr.

    Cheers,
    CW
