    Hey

    Just thought I'd share what I've been up to with Ghost...

    I rewrote Servo in C# so now it's a gui program that answers calls
    it also shows you which nodes are active and a log of past connections.

    The local console now displays ansi decoded, the win 10 virtual
    terminal processing was a bit hit and miss, so it does it itself.

    I can now break into chat with users! Look out!

    a call log database which records ever call, total bytes uploaded /
    downloaded, msgs posted and doors run. I'm just using this for the
    last 10 callers at present, but plan to use it for statistics as well.

    All totall groundbreaking stuff (LOL) but this BBS feels more like a
    BBS than a headless linux server (like magicka).

    Not sure what to add next, perhaps time limits, paging the sysop, maybe
    have another go at adding a settings manager to Servo (and hope VS
    doesn't crash this time)..

    In short, having lots of fun :)

    Yes! I realize we are in different time zones, but I always hope a Sysop will bust into chat when I'm logged in :)

    Andrew,

    I have a wish list for a MOD for Mystic that is W32 and not Linux based. tinkered with some similar stuff and never can get it to work.

    1. Mod that lists HAM Radio Repeaters from a Table or Files that can be selected. There is something similar out there, but although it said it it
    for W32, it is not. There is no .exe to run this as a door.

    2. Really would like a Mod for Weather and or Weather Mapping. That would be killer!

    Just a thought ..

    Well I put in timeouts because some times people walk away and do other
    things, like fall asleep or whatever tying up a node for ages. So now
    after 10 minutes of inactivity, it drops connection.

    As for time limits, I probably won't bother.

    what about multi-user chat with split screens?

    I have multiuser chat via my magichat door. it uses an irc style layout
    rather than split screens. split screens could get a little crowded
    with 80x25.

    Nah. I don't like guest logins. Guest logins usually ask you the same
    amount of questions as my signup anyway. If someone can't be bothered
    signing up, they can go away.
