• TERM values for different Terminal Emulators

From Xenos@21:4/147 to All on Tue May 7 20:34:44 2019
I'm curious if there are any terminfo/termcap definitions or equivalents for:

    SyncTerm
    Netrunner
    Qodem
    Netterm
    Zap-O-Comm
    ftelnet

    or other "modern" BBS Clients.

For some Linux doors/full screen editors that use ncurses, setting the TERM variable to a sane value works wonders. Some will just abort if TERM is set to "dumb".

    Have a look at http://wiki.synchro.net/install:nix?s[]=linux#terminal_capabilities

Haven't had any issues after installing things as it recommends.
