• FreeBasic Door Kit

From apam@21:1/125 to All on Fri May 3 23:11:42 2019
    Hi

Some time ago I wrote a very simple freebasic doorkit. Tonight I added
door32 and socket support to it, so it can be used to write doors on
    windows and linux with freebasic.

If anyone's interested it can be found here:

This is something I would be very interested in toying with! I would love to write a few doors in basic to be used on the BBS! I have many games I
created back in the mid 80s in basic that would make some interesting doors with a few changes!

Do you have docs/how to for your Door Kit?? It's been so long I need a bread crumb trail to relearn whats been forgotten! LOL

Cool, the library is very simple so if there are any features / functions
you want / need let me know and I can see about adding them.

I'm adding documentation to the fsxnet wiki here:

    http://wiki.bbs.nz/resources:doors:libraries:fbdoordk

There is a very basic oneliner program included which is meant to be an
example of how you can use the library.

At present it's available in source form on my git site, but I should
package it up for Paul to hatch out.

I uploaded it to Paul who I am sure will hatch it out when he can. Since
then I just wrote a yahtzee door (just the basic game, no high scores or anything) which I've added as an example.
