    Hi

I've hit a bit of a stumbling block with my BBS and NetFoss. It seems
NetFoss will only work on one node at a time for me.

If I try and launch a netfoss door on a second node, it will either say
that the node is in use, or some other thing would happen (usually the
    BBS closes).

Doors do work on 2 nodes at once, I can run For Honour and Galactic
Dynasty at the same time without issues. The obvious thing (to me) would
be that some how netfoss thinks both nodes are node 1 or something, but
I've tried both using door32.sys to pass the node number and manually
passing it in the batch file.

It's kind of an issue as I am using Tiny's OpenEdit as the message
editor, and two people might want to write a message at the same time.

My BBS uses threads, each node is a different thread, doors are launched
as separate processes and on windows passed the socket handle.

Anyone have any idea what might be going on?

    Hi

For those playing at home, the correct solution is to add
CREATE_NEW_CONSOLE to the flags of create process.

NetFoss now works correctly, but in the mean time I ported magiedit to
    windows :P

Glad you got it working, and Magiedit is much better then openedit
anyway so it was worth doing! ;) Send me a copy and I'll add it to
ezycom in my editor selection. (or attempt to!)

I dunno, I think OpenEdit is better. What windows is EzyCom running on?

Openedit has a lot of features... The big problem was I broke a lot of
them when I removed the insane amount of copy protection BS that was
in it. In hindsight I should have just released a reg code generator.

Oh right! Chances are Magiedit won't work. LOL I'm still running
windows XP for the BBS. I know I should upgrade it but....

I'll have a look tomorrow. I should be able to compile it the same way I
do FH and GD, and I think then it might work on XP.
