    From MeaTLoTioN@21:1/158 to All on Fri Feb 15 19:54:36 2019
    I was wondering if anyone knows where I can find the file MYSTIC.DOC that is referred to by wiki.mysticbbs.com and the readme in mystic, however for some reason it wasn't/isn't included in my archives.

    The reason for my asking is that I wish to know how to use the menu command
    to post a message to a user.

    The command I think I need to use is 'MW' send new e-mail and I wish to use this in MPL.

    What I am thinking it's used like is;

    menucmd('MW','recipient','subject','body');

    But I have no idea, just speculation. Is there anyone who knows the answer? Thanks in advance.

    If you want to automate posting to a base using a menu command you have to use the MX menu command. It will also split large posts into multiple numbered posts if required.

    I usually wait until someone asks something about a menu command and then I go to the Wiki and document it (since there are like 140 menu commands I just add them as people ask). Here you go:

    This will help immensely, thanks! What I'm trying to do is create a script
    for login that when a user logs in, depending on some criteria, they will get
    a local message from the script telling them about something.

    This is, i'm sure, going to be the answer to my question.
    Thank you muchly kind sir.
