    All,

Wondering if anybody here has any experience with Grandstream VOIP's? I have a 2-port HT702 I got from E Bay, trying to figure out how to get it connected to my modem (for dial-up for my BBS). I figured out/configured SEXPOTS, and my modem in linux, now I have to figure out how to connect the modem to the VOIP...
    Thanks
    Regards,
    KrUpTiOn

You need to use the correct codec. I had success using G711a, most VOIP adapters to analogue equipment I've seen have G711u set as standard.

These are basically the same as the coding used in digital POTS exchanges, so you should get up to 33.6k. G.711a in EU/AU, G711u in USA, etc.

    ... Look at it sideways.
