Well I haven't had any network breaking bugs yet. Perhaps I'm not trying
    hard enough :)

It would be interesting to see how mystic (or anything besides crashmail)
    would cope as my uplink.

Hmm, you need to setup HappyNet (FTN) again? :) I'm happy (pardon the pun) to put both of my FTN systems onto HappyNet and link to the new system directly, if you want some testing. That would have you testing against Mystic and
    inkd.

Thanks for the offer, but I don't really want to revive HappyNet (FTN)
again. It's currently working as points off fsxnet and tqwnet, which it transfers to the fat sandwich via binkd, and then that sends it onward.

I should have probably set up isolated test networks, but I figured FSX
is experimental might as well experiment :P. I don't plan on releasing
this software either, so I guess it doesn't really matter if it works or
not with stuff it's never going to connect to.

    Hi Andrew,

is experimental might as well experiment :P. I don't plan on releasing this software either, so I guess it doesn't really matter if it works or not with stuff it's never going to connect to.

I'm glad to see other folks building software they will never release. I
built many systems over the years, from complete (I mean hardware, control panels, software, mobile interfaces, etc) home automation systems controlling both HVAC, lighting, presence detection, security system, etc to comprehensive network/servers monitoring platforms.

All this is powering my home prod and lab networks and house, so I guess it's just to build, experiment and learn along the way. I find it very inspiring reading you in the forum when you experiment your things. Decide to write a
BBS software in a week-end and mess aroung with kludge lines... And i understand fully why you do it....

Just chiming in from nowhere :)

Yeah it's great, there's quiet a bit of developments happening which is
    good.

    Choice is a good thing.

OK, that does fly in the face of answering the questions of compatibility.

Yeah, nothing wrong with testing on FSX. Another way to do it is join VKRadio lol
