I see you've got a perl doorkit module included with your port of TW2002 which is located here:

Know I know that this is going on 10+ years later .. but having played around with that doorkit module "d32.pl" ... I've had zero luck getting even the included testdoor.pl to work inside of Synchro. Do you have any recolection
of anything special that needed to be done to get tw2.pl to run for example (as in settings inside of Sychro)?

    Better yet .. do you have a newer version of d32.pl ? :) :)

Hrm... first off, it has to be door32... let me look at the code...

Wow, that's crap! Clearly a direct translation from BASIC. The JavaScript version of this is likely to be loads better.

Anyway, it looks like if you pass a node number as the first argument and the path to the door32.sys file, it should work.

As for testdoor.pl, pass the door32.sys path as the first argument.

Thanks. I tried that combo with testdoor.pl and still no dice. You piqued my
interest with this JS version of the door32 doorkit you mentioned ... I took a
look around without any luck .. do you have a link for that and perhaps some examples of usage?

I'm thinking of writing another door .. but digging through my Pascal + Manndoor stuff ... I'd like to simplify things a little, should hopefully keep
me from giving up on development as I normally do.

    Let me know.

No no, it was a JS version of TradeWars 2. :-)

I *do* have a JS door kit that's still in it's infancy though... jsdoor and dorkit.js I've successfully ran fseditor under WWIV using it.

It still needs a bit of polish, but ir "works".
