  • Gal Dynasty interbbs

    So, how does one link their BBS(es) with the Galactic Dynasty interbbs
    league? I appear to have at least a couple of players across my SBBS and Magicka systems. I would like to give them more opponents to play.

    I can set you up tonight when I get home.

    You should see some set up guidelines in the fsxnet.zip infopack

    You need to set up an echomail node and filebox to poll 21:1/10 as it's that system you send and receive game packets from for Galactic Dynasty and/or BRE Zone 21 games that are currently running.

    This is the same hub (21:1/10) that also feeds Usenet (gated FTN<>news groups at news.bbs.nz) to nodes that want a Usenet feed for their BBS

    Well the good news is I can see you're already set up and using 21:1/10 for some Usenet groups so you have a link that works in place already with the Usenet and Games HUB :)

    So I would set a filebox up for your 21:1/10 echonode and use that to send
    your Galactic Dynasty inter-bbs files to the HUB.

    I will add you as a new node to the game here today (my saturday - probably later tonight my time) and will hatch out a new BBS.CFG to all nodes at that time, you'll find yours in your inbound directory and need to move it over to your GD directory when you do.

    Do check the inter-bbs set up docs and sing out if you have any probs and the guys here will help you, as will I :)

    Done, you are set up as Node 5 in the inter-bbs game and I have sent you a BBS.CFG to drop in to your GD dir.
