    First of all..... HUGE shoutout for Avon... helping me get sat up on the fsxNet.... looking forward towards some good fun :)

    Now, Usenet. Same idea? The old Fido network... I think is still around.
    Since that is what fsxNet uses?

    I did apply for a membership there as well, the site seems very broken and scattered right now.

    If you're looking for a usenet to echomail gateway feed you'll need to ask around as it's not exactly a standard arrangement. Offhand I know Paul Hayton here and Nick Andre on Fidonet can gate usenet.

    If you applied for a Fidonet node in zone 1 you should get an email from
    Janis Kracht regarding setting you up with a local uplink once she gets a chance to review your application.

    Have a look in the fsxnet.zip infopack and there are details of how you can
    get a free bi-directional feed from 21:1/10 (Games + Usenet HUB) if you want it.
