• FTSC Vote/Nominations

From Louis Northmore@2:250/8 to All on Thu Mar 17 07:53:06 2022

    Hello everybody!

Right now there's a vote going on in FTSC_PUBLIC.
I've been following the threads closely.

Amongst the bickering and arguments, there is not one message from any of the nominees stating what they are hoping to chenge by getting elected.
    Anyone else find this strange?

What has the FTSC done in recent months?

    Louis

I would change your statement from months to years for which I would suggest not a lot !

But hey I live in hope, however there is a limit of what can be done to change any standard/s that will effect the way BBS / mailer software currently works as most of it is no longer supported by any one, let alone the original programmers.

This means that any changes would NOT be implemented.

    Just my 3 pence worth.

Not much. They are a standards-documenting body, not a standards-making body. They are like a bunch of secretaries at a board meeting (to oversimplfy it). I know; I've been on the FTSC several times. The FTSC has long outlived its usefulness.
