  • Filegate areas removed

    Hello All!

    The following filegate areas have been removed at the coordingators request or s/he is no longer dealing with them :

    Perl FDN
    BBS-Scene
    BFDS FDN

    There three go back to September 21 see notes in FILEGATE.ZXX

    Following message from Micheal Dukelsky the following are the ONLY areas now on
    R50 FDN :

    AFTNBINKD
    AFTNMISC
    XOFCELIST
    XOFCFELST
    XOFCHUBSLST

    and Taurus FDN has also been removed - no surprises there then !.

    In case you have not read inactive.txt or inactive-file.txt which is in the current copy of FGATEZXX.ZIP the following FDN's have been removed as inactive
    or no coordinator is available :

    AMIGA-FDN
    Anti-Virus FDN
    APPLEMAC FDN
    Camelot LordNews FDN
    Electronic Publishing FDN
    FILM_PIC FDN
    FLASHMARIO FDN
    GED WIN FDN
    Gentoo Applications FDN

    Ham Distribution Network

    INTERMAIL Mailer FDN
    Legion File Distribution Network
    LNX4 FDN
    MentalDimensions
    OddBall FDN
    Pascal-Net ---- YOU MIGHT WANT TO KEEP THIS ONE JUST IN CASE ----
    PKWare FDN
    SFDS- Script Files Distribution System
    SDS - Software Distribution System
    STN: SysOps Tech Net
    Tablets FDN
    TornadoBBS FDN
    UtilNet - Utilities for Everyone

    All of these might (very little might) just come back - but there again ....

    IF any are still in the system here at 250/1 I will try and remove them (it is not an easy task using mbse) is it does not like deleting areas that HAD nodes connected - a most amazing bug :(

    Before you do, netmail me what you do have on the HDN. I changed it right before Janis left.

    Is your documentation not showing me as coordinator for HDN?
