    From Vincent Coen@2:250/1 to All on Sat Jan 22 17:31:35 2022
    Hello All!

    Z2DAILY file area will be coming in as of tonight etc.

    This is a daily update, for the NODELIST.

    I was in error doing the DAILYLIST and this was from Zone 1 and it is not the same as Z2,3 & 4 is only updated weekly.

    Link yourself in if you require it.

    DAILYLIST is the z1 daily nodelist, hatched daily.

    NODELIST is the weekly nodelist.

    Yes but the NODELIST can also originate from Z2:0 and is the one most in Europe
    use as far as I know.

    The only difference other than the text at the start and end is the order of the zones with the file but as Ward has said with fast system and likewise drives it is irrelevant what the order is as in use with a mailer, golded etc the index order is what counts.

    Now as I get the NODELIST from Z2 I have stopped this and its make DIFF from my
    system as one is enough.
    I have also stopped the DAILYLIST as it was not up to date with the other zones
    where the one from Z2 is so I am going with that.

    I will be changing my internal system to process the Z2Daily in place of the weekly NODELIST - I stopped doing Diffs a couple of years back.

    @For everyone:

    The new area added to 250/1 is Z2DAILY and is updated daily.

    You are all welcome to link in to it.

    The NODELIST and NODEDIFF will still continue to come in and be distributed to all who have linked to them.

    PLease NOTE: that there are new file and echo areas being added much of the time and like wise the odd one being removed as being discontinued due to abandon ware the first one is ADEPT_SYSOP.

    ===========^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^=============

    Out of interest if any one has the SOURCE file archives for one or both versions of ADEPT, please get in touch as I would like to add then to my ADEPT file area as they are the only thing missing and I wish I knew where I put them as I cannot find them on my system drives.

    One version was dealt with a guy in India and the other from the USA I think. Was a pity they did not get together for the development.

    Yes, I would think so.

    Nodelists in the NODELIST area are different in Z1 and Z2 but the area tag is the same.

    Yes, you will want the Z2 nodelist.

    I have also stopped the DAILYLIST as it was not up to date with the other zones where the one from Z2 is so I am going with that.

    That is not so. The Z1 dailylist is hatched every day.

    Yes but the Z2 - 4 info is not - I did a compare and found differences and I did not look long.

    Hello All!

    If you are getting this nodelist format please ensure that you have duplicates TURNED OFF.

    More than one can appear per day such as later updates so just allow your system to update a previous one if any.

    and yes I have to do the same here !
