Power Archiver is no longer lifetime for home users now. But there should of been better
communication on their transition to their new system. I am investigating buying a 2nd
licence of RAR or consider using WinZip. If they want another 50 bucks, I'll choose a
    different program.

    Hello Matthew,

I've never used or heard of power archiver. I still simply use Info-Zip's utilities when I want to share archives with others. It is supported in every file manager I know of so others never have an issue decompressing files.

I do have a registered copy of rar also but it is not as easy to decompress as zip archives are. Well, it is if people have and know how to use RAR but not everyone does.

    Ttyl :-),
    Al
