    Howdy!

Lately after I turned the XP pc on, when I try to Update SuperAntiSpyware
    (SAS) the Update fails.

Other attempts to Update SAS fails too.

Does anyone else have problems Updating this or any other AntiSpyware/Malware or AntiVirus Program?

    Thanks.

I don't know SAS (except for the survival guide book!)

I simply use the Window's Security Essentials, Spyware-blaster, and
Spybot Search and Destroy on my XP machines.

Set up a VM with XP to see if it would work with running my board on. It's
not just what you mentioned which refuses to update...but many other pieces
of software...like browsers & such to make it useful. Even 7 is heading this way.

Combofix for XP, Vista and 7 was by far THE best virus/malware removal tool.

Sometimes it ended up being a Windows removal tool, but back in the
day when I managed teams supporting Windows 7 it was a great *quick*
fix for most any virus issue.

The FREE versions of both Avast and AVG still support win XP
I have been a Avast user ofor about 15 years anb have no complaints.
Anthough the bugging to upgrade to the paid version is a minot nuance
