I understand. I often get the urge to check things are working in quiet areas. Your setup does seem to be working.. :)
The problem appeared to be that both myself, and my hub, were missing the
! from the "WHAT'S_HOT!" message tag. Which caused us to have our own little private version of What's Hot.
Thanks Kurt for troubleshooting and helping me out.
