    Dan,

Below that it says 'Hit a key' and when I do, the nodelist browser closes/crashes.

I have a separate door that I run with a program called NodeView by
Bill Dykstra. It allows up to 10 network nodelists that you can search for text, node number, area code, BBS name, etc. The best parts are that it's small in size, and free in cost. If you have more than 10 nodelist files,
you just create a separate door.

Originally, I ran it under GT Power, and had to use the Doorway utility (originally by Marshall Dudley, now done by Mike Ehlert)...but under Synchronet, Doorway isn't not needed. I just tell SCFG to run it via
    FOSSIL or UART.

The filename is NODEVIEW.ZIP on my BBS in the FIDONet Utilities area.

I run it in ANSI mode, and it's real easy to set up and use. Originally,
the nodelist had to be compiled, but I just use what I get from the various hubs each week.

    Daryl

... Yeah, I BBS -- but I can control it.

Thanks, Daryl. I'm just using the one that's "built-in" to Synchronet,
    namely /sbbs/exec/fido-nodelist-browser.js ... It's pretty basic, but
does what I need, and nobody else is gonna use it anyway... :-)

... Gone crazy, be back later, please leave message.

I used that too every so often.

Or you can just use echicken's nodelist viewer that's already in
/sbbs/exec with unlimited nodelists that you can search for any text
that appears in the nodelist entry with nothing to configure as long as sbbsecho is setup with your nodelists.
