  • xtrn_sec.cpp code to create drop files is super old and hacky

    The main problem is that it performs a dozens of unbuffered writes. Switching to buffered I/O would be a performance improvement, but really, it should just be re-written to use packed structures or unions. This is some of the oldest code remaining in Synchronet still and it shows.
