• Netmail save location

From Gamgee@1:103/705 to Digital Man on Sun Feb 13 08:52:33 2022
    Hello DM,

In the (E)mail menu, when (R)eading a netmail that has been received, pressing (S) will save it (after you type in a filename). By default, that save location is /sbbs/ctrl. Is this definable anywhere? I know I can type in a full path/filename to save it somewhere else, but that gets a little awkward. I'd like to just type in "netmail" and have it save/append to a file of that name, but would prefer a location other than /sbbs/ctrl. Thanks for any help!

No, there's no configuration option for default save-to path. You could submit a feature request here if you like one added: https://gitlab.synchro.net/main/sbbs/-/issues

Another option would be to use the msglist module: https://wiki.synchro.net/module:msglist

Which has a similar "Download message" option which you may prefer.

    Okay, I'll do that.

Yes indeed. I have known about this module but need to explore it
further. As always, thank you DM!
