• Email Distribution List

Has someone already made a way to do this in Synchronet?

You know...an email sent to a single email address that forwards to other designated email addresses?

Depends on exactly how you want it to work, but the ListServer module may be what you're looking for:

I'll check it out, but I was thinking of something more like what MS Outlook provides. I guess that would require an address book as well though.

I use Outlook/O365 at work, sparingly. I know that distribution lists are a thing and that we use groups in AD/AAD to manage them, but that's about where my understanding ends.

I'm sure that in the details there's a lot of difference between these two, but I'm curious what the practical difference would be, in a BBS context.

I could be wrong as I have not tried listserv on sbbs yet. I'll let you know once I've tried it out.
