Is there a way in one of the filters to block out al the constant connections from DUMB terminal connections?

Is there a way in one of the filters to block out al the constant connections from DUMB terminal connections?

Setting [login] inactive_hangup=1 in your ctrl/modopts.ini would cause all dumb (non-ANSI/PETSCII/UTF-8) terminals to be disconnected after 1 second of inactivity.

A client has to be connected to know that it's a DUMB terminal in the first place. :-)

I didn't see a line in the file with that, so I just manually put in inactive_hangup=1 in the [login] category...is that sufficient??

    Rob,

    Correct. http://wiki.synchro.net/module:login

I just grabbed the new modopts.ini out of the updates file,
and that seems to work. I still need to shorten that time,
though...but other things outside the BBS (i.e. LIFE) has
limited my BBS time lately to just updating the weather and
ham radio bulletins, and doing QWK Mail.
