• I can't find the netmails sent to me

From Angel Ripoll@2:341/66 to Todos on Sat Jan 8 18:06:04 2022
    Hola Todos!

Although I'm going to look like a newbie, I don't know where to look at the netmails that other FTN network nodes send me to the BBS.

When someone sends me a netmail through one of the FTN networks, the BBS sends it to me by email to my email address aripoll@zruspas.org. From the web I get a message that a "telegram" has been received but when I go to see the email it is empty. The "Inbox", "Spam" and "Sent" tabs appear on the screen but they are all empty.

Where do I have to go to see it?

    Any help will be welcome

    Un saludo,
    Angel Ripoll

It sounds like you have forwarding to netmail turned on (the sbbsecho.log file would make this clear), so you should see the netmail messages whereever you view messages for aripoll@zruspas.org. Turn off forwarding to netmail for your user account if that's not what you want to happen.

Thank you. It is already solved with your indications.

Is there a way to have both? That they are on the BBS and sent by mail? It would be good to send the email to know what has arrived and then look at it on the BBS

    No.

The BBS has a mail server built-in, so if you want to know what has arrived and then read it (without forwarding the message anywhere), use POP3 (or IMAP).
