• Incoming TIC for Files

    From Mike Dippel@1:103/705 to ALL on Fri Dec 10 14:46:27 2021
    I believe that I have defined the file areas in Synchronet correctly, and yet all I get an error that the path for incoming files cannot be found.

    I have the path for FSX_IMGE defined as c:\sbbs\data\dirs\imge and that folder does exist. I have the short name defined as IMGE and the internal code as: FSX_IMGE

    If I can figure this one out, I should be good to go on the others. Any suggestions?

    In /sbbs/ctrl/tickit.ini , you define *EITHER* the "path" or the "dir".
    Not both. They are mutually exclusive - read the commented notes at the
    top of that file.

    My definition for that file echo is defined like this:

    [FSX_IMGE]
    Dir=FSX_IMGE

    The shortname of "FSX_IMGE" is defined in the file area configurations. That's all you need. There should be no "path" statement for it in the
    config file (tickit.ini).

    Thank you, king sir! That did the trick.
