I got an error saying someone failed to connect to Gopher due to missing 'Guest' account. My guest account is called 'Bit', is this an issue, should I just make another 'Guest' account?

I didn't think you could change the name of the Synchronet guest account. Or rather, I thought Synchronet always had a default guest account with the name 'guest' or something? I think that's how Synchronet supports anonymously loading web pages and anonymous FTP browsing, etc.. You shouldn't have a non-standard guest account name if you want to allow
anonymous browsing.

Or change this line in exec/gopherservice.js:
if(!login("guest"))
log(LOG_WARNING,"!WARNING: NO GUEST ACCOUNT CONFIGURED");
But you're likely to have other issues too with servers/services that
a guest account.

Thanks DM, I should of poked in there first before asking. I'll have to
a gopher client to play around with it.
