• New QWK Network

From BoonDock@1:103/705 to All on Thu Mar 4 11:41:08 2021
    Hi,
I've followed the online directions at http://synchro.net/docs/networking.html and the advice given here and I think I have set up everything correctly.

I exported the conferences to subs.txt from my "Hub" system, and imported that into my local system.
I did a forced call-up from my "node" system. It logged in, packed the mails correctly but when it tried to import the QWK packet, it barfed..

3-4 11:33:33a QNET Importing QWK Network Packet: C:\sbbs\data\ELGATO.qwk
3-4 11:33:33a QNET !Message from ELGATO on UNKNOWN QWK CONFERENCE NUMBER: 4002
3-4 11:33:33a QNET Finished Importing QWK Network Packet from ELGATO: (0 msgs) in 1 seconds (0 msgs/sec), 1 errors, 0 dupes
    3-4 11:33:33a QNET C:\sbbs\data\ELGATO.qwk renamed to C:\sbbs\data\ELGATO.qwk.60410bdc.bad

I've seen that the conference numbers are "dynamic" on both sides. I tried manually setting them, but that didn't help.

    Any advice?

On the node system, the only conference numbers that matter are those you have set in SCFG->Networks->QWK->Hubs. Sounds like you don't have "4002" configured there.
