Does anyone know of a player/game editor for the JS version of LORD that is included with Syncronet?

    Thanks!

I believe the game and user data is compatible with the DOS versions of LORD, so any LORD editr should (in theory) work. Have you tried that?

Yep. I tried opening it in a couple editors I found over on the LORD website. One was a complete nogo, and the other had jibberish populating the fields.

Huh. Well the person to talk to about that would be Deuce at either irc.synchro.net (#synchronet) or nix.synchro.net

There's also an irc client built-into your BBS software (hit 'R' from the Chat menu).

There's also an irc client built-into your BBS software (hit 'R' from the Chat >enu).

The R defaults to the synchronet chat (which I think I can configure in one
    of the ini files).

If someone wanted to customize their system so that they could add
additional options from the chat meny that would default to other irc
sites, would that be easy to do?

It's an outbound connection (for IRC client), so no port-forwarding necessary. --

It would have been pretty easy, but I just made it even easier with a commit to chat_sec.js that adds support for (optional) comma-separated lists of IRC servers and channels in the [chat_sec] section of your modopts.ini. Give that a try.

Ah, I haven't explored any of that part of the BBS software yet. I'll give it a try. It'll be interesting living without all my ancient IRC scripts ;)
