    Heya! I know I recently just saw this question fly about and can not seem to find it at the moment.

    For telneting into the BBS how can your refuse the 80x24? I seem to have a flood of that going on.

    Huh? "The 80x24"? That's a screen size, not an address or
    client.

    You can use ../text/host.can or ../text/ip.can to drop specified
    hosts or IP addresses. Instructions are at the top of those
    files.

    80x24 is the most common screen resolution for users... if you literally
    want to block all users, go for it.

    Gotcha and I found the tread but it was not what I was thinking of. I am just getting bombarded with bots scanning the telnet port and they register on the board as 80x24 screen size. I was hoping to find a way to tell the BBS to just hang up on those.

    No not wanting to block the users.. I was assuming most folks would adjust those settings as their monitors are much bigger nowadays.

    To get "clear and sharp" text in SyncTERM 1.1, you may have to use the Alt-arrow keys to adjust the size bigger (vert or horizontal) and back.

    I did find this section, thank you for pointing out as well. I've mad some mods to the BBS and monitoring. It is looking much better for sure.
