I just completed a LORD IGM in javascript. I would like to add it to the CVS unless no one wants it there. I know it's only a minor add, I just sort of wanted to do something to get going. Is there a client people use for windows? Is there any best way to go about "releasing" it?

I think I used to use TortoiseCVS, but it's been many years.

DM would need to create a CVS account for you. Maybe you've already talked to him about this. Might take a while since he's on vacation right now or something. Maybe put it on your website or GitHub or whatever so people can try it in the meantime.

For Windows, I like TortoiseCVS. It integrates into the Windows shell so you can right-click on a file/dir, and there is a TortoiseCVS menu. And as echicken said, Digital Man would have to create a CVS account for you.

You mean CVS client? Unless you have write-access to cvs.synchro.net, you won't be able to add it, even with a CVS client.

Is there any best way to go about "releasing" it?

Zip it up and upload it to vert and other Synchronet systems? I'd be happy to add it to CVS once its been tested thoroughly (has it?).
