Is there a Synchronet program that makes an 'allfiles' listing , or any other magic files, like 'Sync' for latest Synchronet?
Looked through addfiles and file section, and could not find anything.

I'm guesing you're specifically talking about FREQ magic filenames. That would depend on your FREQ support program. Synchronet's FreqIT supports "Magic Names":

I have used that one but also found https://github.com/fstltna/bbs_utils which says: file_announce (1.3) - This posts a list of files that you have added using perladd.pl to the message base of your choice. It posts as content, not attachment! The settings are in the file at the top. Especially note that you need to copy (and edit unless you want to promote my BBS ¨) the FilePost.txt
& FilePostBottom.txt to /sbbs/exec. This version now handles long descriptions in the file list columns. Now allows command-line overrides of the default settings.

It has been useful as well. Playing around with some of the other utilities in the pack.

I created my allfiles listing as a batchfile, with help from another
Sysop as a guide. That way, I can add or delete any areas, as needed.
Then, I just run the batchfile when a new set of files is placed online.
