  • SynchroNET BBS and fido netmail not working?

    Hi fellow sysops,

    Trying to get fidonet working with synchronet bbs. I can't follow all instructions as the dutch hub doesn't has all files. but I manage to get it working on log level but I can't see the netmail arriving with me:

    Yes I can find it. At the moment it's located in : c:\binkd\inbound

    I think there is something wrong. As I also remember I set paths for fido.

    Maybe something is wrong in echocfg?

    So it arrived on your system....

    I can't help you there. As I told you, I know nothing about synchronet stuff. I only connected to this echo because someone told me I could reach you here. The *.pkt got from my system to yours. It is up to you now to figure out what to do with it. With the help of the other synchronet sysops in here...

    That said, it's not necessary for FidoNet NetMail or EchoMail operations - it's only used for file distribution networks, something you should tackle if you wish, only *after* you have NetMail and EchoMail working.
