Howdy!
I've been following the thread on login and setup. I woould like to do
a login similar to Digital Distortions. (Actually, I like the box of
login choices)
I went to the login module wiki and the @-code module. So I know which control codes to put in the box.
I have the ansi screen I want to use. I don't want random. So basically, when someone telnets/rlogin/ssh's in the get my ansi logo screen with a
box similar to digital distortions and some other pertinent stuff like
time and location.
What I can't find is a tutorial or wiki to do this.
I have an ansi I did
with Pablo Draw. Does it recognize the @-codes? How do you integrate this?
About 20 years ago, I was able to recreate screens and ansi when I ran the Skool Bored back in the 90's M senility has caught up with me.

PabloDraw doesn't recognize @-codes, Synchronet does (and expands
them).
No problem. You usually will want to save to Synchronet Ctrl-A format which will be a .msg or .asc file. These types of files are displayed
as intended to the remote user regardless of terminal
capability/settings (e.g. ANSI/CP437 vs. PETSCII).
Start simple by creating or editing a text/menu/logon.msg file and then logon and see what happens. Let us know if you have any specific questions,

So, for an example, I do an ansi screen put a @BBS at the bottom in Pablo Draw.
Save it as ../text/banner.asc
This would work? Is there a step to save into Synchronet Ctrl-A format?

It'd be @bbs@ (uppercase), but yes.
Or banner.msg. In PabloDraw, .asc files by default are *not* in
Synchronet Ctrl-A format, while .msg file are.
Yes, PabloDraw allows you to specify the file format when saving. http://wiki.synchro.net/resource:ansi_editors#pablodraw
