From Hemo@1:103/705 to digital man on Mon Sep 30 14:33:12 2019
    Hello DM,

Curious if the gtk utilities under the linux build are supported or not. I seem
to recall that code may have been contributed and not your direct works.

gtkuseredit and gtkuserlist are working for me, but the gtkmonitor will flash open the dialog and then dump core.

I am compiling sources myself from cvs. I can try to provide more details if requested or directed.

    thanks,

    John 'Hemo'

Those are Deuce's projects. I don't normally test them or use.

    Try a clean re-build?

I am compiling sources myself from cvs. I can try to provide more details if requested or directed.

Try a clean re-build first, then if it still happens, let me know. Maybe provide a backtrace from gdb.

yeah, i tried killing my outgoing message but it was too late. GTK tools are not getting built. I should have checked that before sending off the note.

running cleanall.sh is standard for me on rebuilds, atm.

    thanks.

    Okay, so fixed now then?

Yeah, the gtk* projects are optional, so they're not part of the normal build/rebuild steps.

Yes. All set. I should have spent more time researching before firing off the original message.

running cleanall.sh is standard for me on rebuilds, atm.

Yeah, the gtk* projects are optional, so they're not part of the normal build/rebuild steps.

I've manually added the gtk-related directories to my cleanall.sh script and also manually added specific build and installs under each gtk-related directory to my cvs update and build script.

that seems to be working better, especially making sure I build the gtk utilities last.
