  • QWK woes

    Seems my board stopped receiving DoVe-Net updates on Jan 24, 2019 @ 4pm AST. Last message is from DM to ML 'updating my domain in sbbsimsg.lst'

    here is the most recent QNET-FTP log entry:

    There haven't been any configuration changes anywhere. Any ideas?

    Nah, it's all good, I trust the SysOPs and it's just for QWK. Had to do a reboot to clear up the socket error.

    Nah, it's all good, I trust the SysOPs and it's just for QWK. Had to do a reboot to clear up the socket error.

    Until some newbie rescans the area and puts this echo up on their web interface for the public to see and Google to index.

    Seriously, just change your password. If I was DM I'd lock your QWK account until you did :p (But I'm not, and he's way nicer than I am)

    Well, it's sysops only here ... so I guess DM could lock me out, or wait and see if someone does that and locks them our (DM has records of my IP address) but at any rate, not sure how to change my password 'cuz it's a qwk account which does not have access to 'change your password' ... already sent Dm a password reset request via email :-)

    I will likely be taking Empty Keg BBS offline soon and using the original (still active) AlleyCat! BBS anyway
