I am hoping to move my filebase to a seperate location out of the main /sbbs/data/dirs folders.

Physical file and folders are currently under /sbbs/dara/dirs/*

would I need to move all files under /sbbs/data/dirs to another location ( inluding the *.dab, *.dat, *.ixb, *.exb ) files, or do I just need to move the files and directory structure of the physical files and folders (/sbbs/data/dirs/CDROM1, etc)?

I seem to recall/think the SBBS related files will stay in /sbbs/data/dirs, and
only the files and folders themselves be moved ...

I realize I need to update SCFG to point to the new locations.

No, just the actual "download" files.
