• Date Based Reorg

Is there any way with FIXSMB to reorg the message bases to be "date" sensitive? I sent a %RESCAN to one of my feeds and ended up getting a plethora of messages that put older messages after newer messages. A little annoying and I prefer consistency (and consistent dating).

The index order of messages *is* date sensitive, it's the date the message was imported (added to the message base).

You can use a message lister with a sort option and sort by date "written" rather than date imported.

In message networks, its quite common to receive (import) messages in a different chronology order than in which they were actually written by each author.
