Question to All,

I think the mouse support in SBBS is pretty cool with SyncTerm. I've noticed for awhile that one of my custom logon-related asc bulletins (that I converted from an ansi) has some @-codes for formatting and displaying BBS information seems to break the hotspot on the @PAUSE@ I have manually in the file. Because of how I've crafted this logon bulletin, I'm using @UP:1@ codes to line up rows where other Message Variables (@-codes) are being inserted. When I remove all use of @UP:1@, the mouse hotspot works again; however, when they are included it breaks. Is there an easy way to fix this? I've tried playing around with @HOT@-related Message Variables, but they don't seem to help.

I'll play with it and see what I found, but it sounds at first glance like a terminal-side issue. Did you happen to test this with other mouse-supporting terminals (Netrunner, Putty, etc.)?

Ok, I installed NetRunner and tried it with it's mouse support enabled and I do not experience the issue. Perhaps, it's a SyncTERM bug then?.

That's what it sounds like. The next (helpful) question would be to know the answer to would be in what version was the problem introduced (e.g. does the problem happen when using SyncTERM v1.1 or v1.0?).

I'm running SyncTERM 1.1

If you don't mind, you can download SyncTERM v1.2a from syncterm.net. Maybe give that a try too?

I pulled SyncTERM v1.2a and it still has the issue.
