Hi,relay
Has anyone gotten GMail to work with Synchronet?.
I keep getting authentication erorrs, I have tried the relay option to
it through my ISP mail. I have ticked the box Allow authentication viaPOP3,
Telnet, ect under Mail in Sbbs control utility. I even ticked the box Allow authenticated users to relay mail. Should I send pigeons?.
I send email to @gmail.com recipients using my Synchronet mail sever allthe
time. Perhaps if you posted the actual error message(s), we could help you.

I think you have to use TLS with port 587.
I remember doing that too but never had a problem. Maybe it's a port issue, perhaps?

No, that didn't help. Thanks anyway though.
Well, it was worth a try. :)

Yeah, I know, and I am greatful. I have opened all the ports mentioned on the wiki (IPV4/6). Tried it with win10 and router firewall off. Still get this:

Did you read my earlier response to you? It appears your ISP is blocking outbound connectinos to TCP port 25. This is covered in the FAQ I pointed you to: http://wiki.synchro.net/faq:tcpip#send_mailsent
If your ISP is blocking connections to TCP port 25, there's really nothing you can do but call them and ask them to stop it. Or you can relay your
mail through another system. This is all covered in the FAQ.

Are you trying to relay through gmail? Could you provide more
information on exactly what you are configured to do, and exactly
what you are trying to do?
Give specific steps that repeat what you are doing.
