Right now, the Dems have no candidate. Biden is senile and doesn't have the mental capacity to be President and his polling numbers are very low. No one wants Kamala in the office. The only "Democrat" who can possibly beat Trump is RFK, Jr. - and the Elitists don't want him anywhere near the Capitol.
IHMO: Biden's doing it in a lame attempt to boost his polling numbers. Just like him "forgiving" student loan debt - even though he was told he can't do that.
