I was watching a video, ad for a Florida lawyer, and he was boasting a successful case....
That's the thing about Special Counsel Jack Smith.
He just bags them and moves on to the next one.
War criminals, mobsters, crooked cops, former presidents ...
But hey. No Florida lawyer can match up to Jack Smith.
Especially those from Mar-a-Lago.
Then again, look at the douche-bag Florida has for a governor.
Anyhow, back to your story.
His client gets pulled over while driving.
Lots of folks get pulled over while driving. For no reason at all.
The cop made him blow for possible DWI...
I know of no field sobriety test anywhere in the USA that a driver
is forced to to take such a test where he/she has been pulled over.
Perhaps he refused to take such a field sobriety test, and was then
taken to the station so as to be given a breath analyzer test?
He blew "0"...
You do realize those machines are calibrated by using alcohol as
a base? Maybe the machine in question was not working as advertised.
Could that be it?

That is where your story becomes fantasy. An individual can refuse
to take a field sobriety test. And a field sobriety test, if taken,
can be thrown out of court, for reason. An individual also has the
right to refuse to take a breath analyzer test. But will then have
the option to have a blood sample taken. If the blood sample shows
the individual to have been intoxicated, he/she will have his/her
license revoked for a period of time, as proof of intoxication was
shown.
No piss test required anywhere in the USA. Including in Florida.
and apparently the THC levels in his sample was high... or better elevated.
So? As long as he/she was not under the influence it did not matter.
Lawyer argued that the cop had no probable cause, smelt or saw weed, before
requesting a sample. He pointed out his client 4th amendments constitutional rights was infringed...
Judge agreed, client walked.

If only it was true.
Your story falls apart with the piss test. Had it been a blood test,
there might have been some credibility.
Here is a true story, which can be independently verified -
Lady driving a pink cadillac drove up to a boat landing and
drove it right into the water, climbing out of the window on
to the shore.
She walked over to the convenience store by the landing and
got a soda, waiting for law enforcement and ambulances to arrive.
After arriving at the scene, cops and emergency people asked folks
what happened. All said the same thing, pointing to the woman drinking
the soda pop. And then her husband arrived. Refused to file charges.
Said she did it because she did not want him to repaint the car, as
she wanted a new mink coat instead.
He had to pay for the tow to get the trashed car out of the bayou,
and taken to the junk yard.
Not really sure who paid for the soda pop.
